2 nights ago the "giant babies" that live upstairs had a huuuge fight.
first of all, we affectionately refer to them as "giant babies" because for most of the day
they sound like they are stumbling,bumbling, rumbiling through their house, resulting
in tiny little earthquakes in our apt.
this is of course, when they are not having their thursday night sub woofer parties.
Theory: sub-woofer is so named becuase it only really affects people who are living "sub"
to you. i.e. us. not sure about the "woofer" part though. I'll come up with something.

anyway, I digress. So usually we here them "enjoying" their relationship..which is creepy if you had already pictured them as giant babies. that's sick dude. you should be ashamed.
but two nights ago they aren't so much enjoying their relationship.
they are still screaming sure...but not in a good way. she's calling him all sorts of things,
"worthless","sit on your ass all day", "good for nothing", "you don't care about anything..our relationship, our life, our sexual life!" etc etc. He's yelling back. it's god awful.
The girl and I are lying there while they go at it upstairs, sort of like that scene in High Fidelity. and we can't sleep, cuz of all the notinagoodway yelling. so we're just lying there, listening.

girl:"I think it's cuz they got a tv in their bedroom"
me:"I think it's cuz he doesn't care about their relationship"
girl:"it's the tv, for sure..they didn't used to have a tv, and now they fight more"
me:"falling asleep to sportscenter could be fun"
girl:"....."
me:"I s'pose I could do that on the couch..should I leave right now..ok..."

So yesterday there was a MASSIVE boquet of flowers for the giantbabygirl who lives upstairs.
I'm guessing it's gonna go where the tv used to be.

Sold his soul to the devil...?
