gw just got announced, crowd going nuts
on nbc coverage they have some mike on that is some cop yelling at people..
"take a seat!". makes him sound like a heckler. The speaker is visibly uncomfortable as he announces one of many mezzo-sopranos.
apparently the vice president isn't allowed to speak. andrew johnson(...?) was all drunk at Lincoln's second inaugural and was all looking at the supreme court judges and saying shit about them. They should encourage this. More people would watch this 40 million affair.
apparenly the woman news reporter on nbc "had dinner with him..last year.." re: rehnquist, mike hastily turned off.
hassterrt suuuucks. he's messing up the vice presidential oath and cheney is just saying what it's supposed to be, not repeating what he is saying at all. what a douche.

Bush just mentioned the speech given on Mt.Sinai. And then invoked...The Kuran??? what the??
"even the unwanted have worth".....??? more awkward silence...uh oh...bush wants to talk..the voice in his ear says wait...more silence..scattered applause..
Crowd goes wild while some protester allegedly gets arrested and his giant "No War" sign is pulled down by the copses. Bush just talks louder. Unclear as to why crown is cheering when they aren't supposed to. so confused. speeches suck. he's probably going to need a vacation after this one.
